Day 4 Residential

Tonight's bloggers are Harley, Cameron and Ollie.

Everyone had to be woken up this morning, some even had to go to breakfast in their pyjamas. Breakfast today was bacon, scrambled egg, toast or cereal. Then loads of time to have shower and finish getting dressed.
Activities this morning included laser zone, bushcraft and buggy building. In laser zone ‘protect the VIP’ was played, the girls won most of the games. Lighting fires was best in bushcraft. Making buggies was Ollies favourite. The zip wire was amazing, Harley went first and managed to step off the scary edge.
Lunch was pasta and meatballs with fruit or jacket potatoes. The afternoon was a bit eventful with a couple of minor injuries, all casualties returned to their groups fit and well.
More exciting activities this afternoon, mostly in the sunshine, there was a quick shower to dodge. New inventions were built and pitched Dragons Den style. Rockets were sent to the clouds, those standing too close got soaked. Walls were climbed, arrows were fired.
Curry was for tea, quite spicy. Jam doughnuts for pudding. During the afternoon the shop was visited and all our money was spent – look out for souvenirs and gifts coming home.
Disco tonight – not much time to get dressed up but we all changed including Mr Seymour – very fetching in shorts.
We are all feeling exhausted and looking forward to coming home tomorrow having had a fantastic week. Hopefully we will have  most of our own belongings in our cases.

See you all tomorrow.
