Greek Day by Andrew, Scott and Jake

This is a map of Ancient Greece, a gory paradise! It was not a full country, as it was made up of lots of different city states (who were always fighting against each other). However, if there was an invasion by the Persian army, they would all pull together and fight. Although the toughest warriors, (the Spartans) would not fight in a religious ceremony. This is why the Spartans did not help the Athenians defeat the Persians! One year six, who especially enjoyed the day commented: " I really enjoyed the day, particularly the morning."

Our Greek Day by Paige, Emily and Eleanor

On Year six's Greek Day Peneleos, a man from Horrible Histories, talked about armour from the Greek battles. Also, he picked an unlucky Year 6 to be in a battle ... just kidding! Actually, he picked a boy called Brandon to try his helmet on. Next, Peneleos got his three metre dory, actually a spear, and pointed it at the front row. All around the hall, there were screams. However, luckily, he was only acting!

In ICT we have been making our own scary movie posters. Our aim was to get people to look at it for more than three seconds, because three seconds is the average time for a movie poster. we have also been making our own animation clips. It has been really fun but also a challenge, an easy challenge! We have seen all of the others in our class.

English

In English we have been writing our own play script .We got put into groups then we shared ideas with  other groups to make sure that they link. We had 7 scenes to wright and we will be performing them to the rest of  year 6 on Wednesday the 18th of December.
