Thursday (Day 4)

This morning saw many bleary-eyed children, teachers and supporting adults trying to muster the energy from a well-deserved night's sleep, but breakfast fuelled us ready for the day's activities! In fact every meal was a welcome boost to keep everyone moving.

Throughout the day many conquered their fears on the abseiling and climbing tower and trying a new skill in kayaking. The good weather also ensured that archery and survival skills in shelter building and fire-lighting was possible.

With support from the ever-energetic JCA staff at Mill Rythe, the children were buzzing with a great sense of achievement after 'the tower'

Team challenge tasks

Learning how to survive when necessary!

Water Sports! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Robin Hood not in sight, but plenty of merry children!
