Here are our apology letters based on Despicable Me 2! This is Sammy's and Scott's letter:

Dear darling Daddy,

I’m so, so sorry that I blew up the class again. Please forgive me!

I brought one of your bombs into school and somehow it blew up! However, Edith was messing with the bomb and she forced me to bring it into school. Otherwise, she would’ve chopped my Unicorn in half and I couldn’t let that happen! Could I?

I am terribly, terribly sorry even though it was Edith! You’re not going to punish me are you? Not dearest little Agnes! Luckily, Dave stopped the fire but also blew the head teacher to South Africa with the super hose 2000 (I never liked that head teacher anyway! I wonder if she’ll ever come back to school or even leave South Africa?). You’re not going to tell Lucy are you? L You’re not going to lock me into the minion zone, are you? Especially with Dave because I don’t want him using the super hose 2000 on me! If he does you’ll come looking for me, won’t you?

You’re not going to take my unicorn away from me? IT’S SO FLUFFY I’M GONNA DIE! PLEEEEEAAASE tell Margo that I didn’t die. I’ll do the dishes for a month or for two if you like. Please forgive me, I want to be with my family especially Lucy my new Mummy!

Lots and lots of love

Here are our apology letters based on Despicable Me 2! This is Scarlett's and Georgia's letter:

To my amazingly, awesome, wonderful Daddy, Gru,

I am really; really so very sorry! Something happened at school today that I have to tell you about.

Will you be mad at me, if I say that I brought my unicorn to school, as I couldn’t part with her for more than six hours? My horrible new teacher, Mrs Humdrum, spotted me during English cuddling my super fluffy unicorn. After that, she took her away from me, and locked it up in her toy cupboard. After school, that horrible teacher called me back into class. Now I have to go to detention for a whole WEEK!

But it’s not my fault! Margo didn’t realise that I had brought Marshmallow into school, but neither did I! Well, actually I did know, as Edith dared me to take her to school. If I was successful, she would give me $10, which would pay for a bother for Marshmallow. I could not miss out on an opportunity like this. Could I?

This is partly your fault, as you were the one who won it for me in the first place! I’ll be a really good girl if you understand me. Once again, I’m really, really sorry. If you love me you’ll give me a big hug after.

Lots and lots of love hugs and kisses,

From your favourite daughter Agnes

P.S     Can you get one of your gadgets and blow up Mrs Humdrum and rescue Marshmallow and my class.

Maths   V   Bieber

On Thursday the 16th January, Justin Bieber, who is an international pop star, visited lee on the Solent junior school half way through their exciting maths lesson (weighing chocolate).

Quietly, all the children were listening to their maths teacher, when Mr Lloyd (school’s office manager) walked in with a mysterious man. Wearing a red Hollister tracksuit bottoms, a blue jack wills jumper, and an aluminous orange hat and a pair of pure gold sunglasses, he slowly took off his sunglasses and hat. Then he started to ‘try’ to sing! Children down in year 3 heard one class of year six moaning and groaning apart from one girl called Ellie who was dancing to his singing. Teachers rushed to the classroom to see who was screaming then slowly backed away because they realised it was Justin Beiber. One pupil called Ellie spoke of her excitement this was her reply: “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It was amazing he kissed me on the cheek then I fainted!

However, not all children liked him as much as Ellie. A group of children picked him up and marched him down the high-street, and threw him into the ocean.

That was the last Lee Junior School saw of Justin Bieber, until they saw him on the news illegally drag racing when he was drunk and taking drugs!!

Just to tell you unfortunately it was not real. However the last paragraph was!

Super Steven Spielberg Spots Super Stars

Last Friday, at Lee- On- The- Solent Junior School, Steven Spielberg chose 6HM’s school play to be made into a film at Hollywood.

Year Six without knowing that Steven Spielberg was in the back of the music room, were doing their Celebration Assembly. However, one of them knew that he was there. That one child who knew was called Andrew as, Steven Spielberg was his uncle. He told Year 6 exclusively that Andrew had told him that it was an amazing play and that he should defiantly come over to England to see it, so he did.

The assembly started and the first scene came up to the stage. 6HM did not see him as he was in the alcove at the back of the music room. 6HM had finished their last scene, when Steven Spielberg jumped out of the crowd of parents and shouted “I love it! It’s amazing!” One parent informed us, “We all had no clue that a world famous director was in the alcove, in the same room as us.”

At present contracts are still under review. Hopefully 6HM will make it to HollyWood!!! Also, we hope that other directors will spot 6HM’s talent.

Greek Day by Andrew, Scott and Jake

This is a map of Ancient Greece, a gory paradise! It was not a full country, as it was made up of lots of different city states (who were always fighting against each other). However, if there was an invasion by the Persian army, they would all pull together and fight. Although the toughest warriors, (the Spartans) would not fight in a religious ceremony. This is why the Spartans did not help the Athenians defeat the Persians! One year six, who especially enjoyed the day commented: " I really enjoyed the day, particularly the morning."

Our Greek Day by Paige, Emily and Eleanor

On Year six's Greek Day Peneleos, a man from Horrible Histories, talked about armour from the Greek battles. Also, he picked an unlucky Year 6 to be in a battle ... just kidding! Actually, he picked a boy called Brandon to try his helmet on. Next, Peneleos got his three metre dory, actually a spear, and pointed it at the front row. All around the hall, there were screams. However, luckily, he was only acting!

Back in December

Back in December

ICT

In ICT we have been making our own scary movie posters. Our aim was to get people to look at it for more than three seconds, because three seconds is the average time for a movie poster. we have also been making our own animation clips. It has been really fun but also a challenge, an easy challenge! We have seen all of the others in our class.

English

In English we have been writing our own play script .We got put into groups then we shared ideas with  other groups to make sure that they link. We had 7 scenes to wright and we will be performing them to the rest of  year 6 on Wednesday the 18th of December.
